Hey bloggers,

After exploding and cruising past the Utah Jazz, LA have now made it to the Western Conference Finals, and are versing some old rivals the Phoenix Suns. The Lakers had managed to beat the Sun's in 7 games but this is a new year, and a new team. Even tho some faces are still the same from a few years ago, Phoenix now has a new coach who is looking forward to doing things a little differently and also to lead this talented team to the NBA Finals. During this season, the Lakers have managed to take 3-4 from the Suns and kept that winning percentage alive here tonight. Even with a knee injury,Kobe Bryant was just too unbelievable in this one ending his night with 40pts to lead all scores and to help LA obtain this victory. A big part of this one, was Lamar Oden, who was also very big in this ball game, finishing off with 19pts and 19reb. I didn't want to really wait," said Odom, "I said to myself if I'm going to have a bad game, then I'm going to have a bad game going out swinging ... I tried to attack." This is what LA needs from Lamar if they want to keep on rolling this way. They next play Wednesday night here at the Staples C enter.

Hey bloggers,

After playing hard , the Lakers are back in Oklahoma hoping to put this series away. It was an amazing game and probably one of my favourite playoff game so far. Both teams went at it and were exchanging buckets for buckets. Thunders were leading by 3 with 2 minutes left on the clock, but Kobe Aka mister big shot made a key jumpers to bring LA closer, and then Gasol got an offensive rebound from Kobe's miss shot, and put it back in to win the game. It was a very sad way to loose, but after all that's what you get when you don't box out. "I had Westbrook on me, got him in an isolation then went to my sweetspot, elevated, took the shot but it didn't go in," Bryant said. "Paul saved the game for us." If it wasn't for Paul saving his team like that, this series would of went back to LA for game 7, which would of been electrifying! It's sad to say that it's over for the Thunders, but they played very well during the whole season. This young team deserves a lot of credit. Now LA move on to the next one as Kobe says against the Utah Jazz. The series kicks off Sunday May 2nd here in LA.

Hey bloggers,

Back in LA, the Lakers were hoping to get back to their usual, Winning! They quickly set up the paste from the get go and were rolling. They played great defence and did things just like in the first two games of this series, which they hadn't done in Oklahoma. Both LA's big man stepped up big time to give them a boost late in the ball game. Paul Gasol had 25pts and 11reb and Andrew Bynum finished with 21pts and 11reb. After watching the game, Thunders kept them selves in the ball game even while shooting the ball very poorly. The couldn't buy a shot from the outside, but with great ability to get to the hole, Westbrook and Durant kept this game pretty close until the fourth quarter. For me to see such a young team play that well during this series, is a great feeling especially when your going up against the defending champs. Kobe Bryant even said that Thunders can be a hell of a challenge when they want. I enjoy a challenge," If we're going to be eliminated then I want to go into the summer thinking that I could have done something about. So I accept the challenge." The next game is back in Oklahoma on Friday night. I think It just gets better from now on!

Hey bloggers,

After an impressive win over the Lakers , the young Thunder team comes up big with another sneaky win over LA, but this time it was a blowout. This team has now won two in a row here in Oklahoma and i am sure that they are feeling good to see that their right back in this series. You could tell by watching the game, knowing that they were down 2-0 against the defending champs, they just had to battle back and battle and do something differently in order to get this key win. In an interview, Coach Phil Jackson said this about the way LA played. "Not much to say about that one, they just took it to us, "The beginning of the second half was as bad as we can start and we tumbled from there. It was a pretty good meltdown." After hearing that comment, Lakers starting guard, also the Captain, said that he had never heard his coach say something like that, which means that they must of played very bad and they probably did quit on each other during this game. Paul Gasol had 13pts, and Kobe only 12pts. As for the Thunders, the had a great contribution as usual from their point guard Russel Westbrook with 18 and Durant had 22 to lead all scores. Both team will now head back to LA tonight for game 5.
