Hey bloggers,
The Lakers have now lost two in a row, and with Kobe Bryant out, they were hoping that it wouldn't be three in a row. Today Kobe Bryant was still out with his knee injury but it was no problem for the Lakers who were facing off against one of the worst teams in the NBA right now the Minnesota Timberwolf. The Timberwolfs haven't beat the Lakers in a while now and LA wasn't about to let that happen anytime soon, especially not with playoffs around the corner. After struggling, the Lakers were looking to secure home court advantage with a win today and did just that. It was a blowout from the beginning and LA didn't give the Timberwolf a chance to spoil their chances. They shot the ball well and executed their plays to the T. Paul Gasol and his guy played well. He finished the game with 29pts and 15reb, while his teammates Shanon Brown, Lamar Oden and Jordan Farmar all had 13pts and Ron Artest had 11pts to help LA walk out with a victory. Now LA can rest a little since they are now guaranteed home court advantage throughout the whole playoffs series, but that doesn't mean to stop winning it only means to take a shorter breather. The Lakers are really looking to give Kobe some rest so that he can heal and also be fully ready for crunch time. They next face off against Portland Trailblazers on Sunday night on ESPN
